Moustache Day

Thanks for the great post. I recently visited the Chicago offices of Google and learned of some of the great ideas that come from their "Employee Happiness Committee." One of my favorites was Moustache Day. Everyone creates and wears a fake moustache all day (or for a big portion of it). Think of how much more engaged, present, and playful you would be in a conversation with a colleague wearing a fake moustache.

Might you have new ideas? See them in a fresh perspective? Lighten up a little?

All of us have a responsibility to transform our workplace into playspaces for new ideas and perspectives. This is just one of so many possibilities--and they require very little time or resources, and the return is huge as you have outlined about.
